Financial Woes……

So, I’m sitting here chilling out, watching some Friends when I receive a call with a “blocked number”.  Against my usual practice of sending the call to voicemail, I actually answered the call.  It’s from a process server.  He is trying to serve me a summons for something.  I immediately think, “What in the name of all things holy is this soon to be ex-husband trying to pull now”.  So, I ask the gentleman for… Continue Reading

If pets really sense our feelings, then oopsie!!!!!

They say that pets have this innate sense of knowing how we are feeling.  I truly believe this because my little maltese Prince always runs for cover when he sees me crying.  (Typical male behavior from what I have gathered lol).  Whenever there would be an argument in the house, and even though the golden retriever is his dog, both dogs camp out right next to me during the tiff (or battle…potayto, potahtoe) and stay… Continue Reading

THANK GOD THERE IS AN “UNPUBLISH” FEATURE

At least for this blog there is.  In life, not so much. On this blog, I can rant and cry and whine and bitch about whatever I want, whoever I want, hit publish, feel better about myself because I am too chicken shit to deal with it face to face, AND THEN feel so much remorse and regret exactly 60 seconds later that I change the post to “Draft” status and there it will remain… Continue Reading

Guilty Pleasures

We all have them!  Don’t try to pretend that you don’t!!!!!!  They are those secret things that you totally love and obsess over but are too embarassed to admit them to your friends or significant other because you think they will realize what a true dork you really are.  Well, guess what.  I have decided that today, I am no longer going to keep any of those inside.  When I meet someone I want them… Continue Reading

Is it a curse to be a good person???????

I mean seriously.  If  the odds of something bad happening are 1 in a million, I will be that 1 that it happens to. I try to stay out of trouble.  I try to mind my own business.  I try to do good things, like helping others through blogging or offering my help when someone mentions a problem.  I am there for my friends as much as I can be when they need someone, I… Continue Reading

Changing the inner can change the outter????

Human beings, by changing the inner attitudes of their minds, can change the outer aspects of their lives. -William James Ok. So if this is so, then if I think the public transportation is the best thing invented and that the people on there really do not smell and I just have a nose problem and do not have a problem attracting those with a terrible stench to sit next to me, will I suddenly… Continue Reading

Should Celebs EXPECT that “role model” comes with being a celeb?!!!

For the last, oh, 100 years or so, I think that at one point or another every person has admired or wanted to be like at least one celebrity.  Whether it was Grace Kelley, Audrey Hepburn, Marilyn Monroe, Humphrey Bogart, a member of the Beatles,  to any of the modern day celebrities.  What is it that makes, or made us want to be like them?  Is it the glitz and glamour that follow them everywhere?  The way they command… Continue Reading

Girl Interrupted With A Whole New Meaning

This post is from many years ago….just after my initial hospitalization and diagnosis. Well, after the latest life events, I now look at that movie from a different perspective. The first few times I saw that movie, I was thinking “OMG” through parts of it and in amazement that people thought certain ways or that they behaved certain ways. Now, part of it had me thinking “omg” with a chuckle. Some favorite lines: “Susanna, you chased… Continue Reading

A SERIOUS ISSUE!! STOP VIOLENCE AND HATE CRIMES

As most of you know, my younger sister (Sister Hot Mess) is 17 years old and has Alopecia. (At the time of this post, she was 17.  Yesterday, New Years Day 2014, she turned 23) Alopecia aereata is a genetic autoimmune disease for which there is no known cure, YET! This type of disease does not only affect adults, but children. Boys and girls, this disease doesn’t discriminate! She has had it since she was… Continue Reading

Another Chapter of Public Transit Woes……

Oh boy. So, as these events were taking place, I had the blog all written out in my head. But, then…..there was an unpredictable turn of events. One that I did not see coming (as I was sitting behind the event and could not see people faces or expressions) So…. this little tale may be a bit rocky just because I am a little shocked and surprised at the results but yet, makes this story… Continue Reading
